The luckiest


Thank you guys for the birthday wishes! I had a wonderful day with my family and friends.  We had a simple potluck lunch the contents of which spanned at least four continents: Chinese fried rice, gnocchi with zucchini ribbons, pumpkin and mushroom pasta, porotos granados (a Chilean corn and bean stew), and Persian salad.  The best part?  The Professor spent all of Saturday morning making (totally from scratch!!!) this lovely and delicious chocolate cake with raspberry topping.  There are few days indeed when I feel that I truly am the luckiest person in the world to have so many wonderful people in my life.  Thank you.
