Scenes from our weekend

This weekend was pretty eventful. Most of our weekends involve going to the park or the pool, hanging out in our pajamas at home and maybe seeing a friend or two. But this weekend, the little one got his first official haircut and some stylin' new shoes, we went out for Thai food for the first time since we´ve been in Barcelona, and we met the extremely cute and very talented blogger/photographer/high-schooler, Giulia Duch.  Here are some other things we did this weekend:

There´s a tiny little street by our grocery store that we´ve never ventured down for some reason. But last Friday we did and we discovered this little gem, the Bangkok Cafe. Authentic Thai food right in our neighborhood! We dined on sweet and sour chicken and spicy beef stew with ginger and cashews. So delicious but a bit pricey for the portion sizes. Also, the location is kind of small which can get chaotic because it´s apparently really popular.

Right across the street from the Bangkok Cafe, we discovered this English Pub which serves Game of Thrones beers! The Professor was SO excited. We´ll definitely be back to try these but it was closed when we passed by. I love the "brewed in Winterfell" on the label. So nerdy but so fun!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar meets the Very Hungry Baby. Ironic huh? Roman totally destroyed this book. He ripped the pages and chewed right into the spine of the book. I feel like we should block it off with crime scene tape. Poor, poor little book.

My little prince getting his first official haircut. Since he was born, he´s had three haircuts but the first two were done by the totally amateur Professor. We were a bit nervous to take him to a hair salon but he behaved so well (no fussing, no tears!) and let the nice lady do her job. He looks so handsome (and clean!) with his new haircut but I miss his unruly, rebellious, little curls. I almost cried when I saw them on the floor. Am I a total freak?

Anyway, that´s what we´ve been up to. What did you guys do?

P.S. Here´s what we did last weekend in case you missed it.
